2019 Grants 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Southern Downs Regional Council for a grant of $34,564 through their Drought Communities Program. This funding enabled the Society to install two 200,000+ litre water tanks on Stanthorpe Showgrounds to capture rainwater runoff from showground buildings, store it, and reuse it at high water use areas.  

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Southern Downs Regional Council for a grant of $10,000.00 through their Grants to Communities funding program. This funding enabled the Society to further upgrade the Stockman's Bar and Canteen by providing an equipment store, office and room for a cold room. 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society acknowledges the financial support provided by the Queensland Government, through the Show Societies Grants Program. This funding will assist the Society with costs relating to the 2019 Stanthorpe Show.

2018 Grants 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $35,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to upgrade the grandstand seating overlooking the equestrian arena.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $34,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to upgrade the Sheepdog Trials sheep yards and office and install power.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Southern Downs Regional Council for a grant of $660.00 through their Regional Arts Development Fund funding program. This funding enabled the Fine Arts subcommittee to run digital art workshops. 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $35,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to upgrade the Stockman's Bar and Canteen (prev. Rodeo Shed).

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $35,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to install a mezzanine floor in the exhibition centre.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Southern Downs Regional Council for recently approving a fast grant of $574.74 under their Grants to Community funding program. These funds were necessary so we could undertake some emergency repairs to the showgrounds driveway.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society acknowledges the financial support provided by the Queensland Government, through the Show Societies Grants Program. This funding assisted the Society with costs relating to the 2018 Stanthorpe Show.

2017 Grants 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Queensland Government for a grant of $17,000.00 through their Show Societies program. This funding assisted the Society with costs relating to the 2017 Stanthorpe Show.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $30,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to upgrade the livestock yards at the showgrounds.

 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Southern Downs Regional Council for a grant of $9,615.00 through their Grants to Communities funding program. This funding enabled the Society to purchase three units of portable partitions for use within the exhibition centre. 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing through their Get in the Game, Get Going Clubs funding program. Through this program, the Queensland Government provided $8,250.00 to the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to purchase a portable building that will be come the society's new campdraft announcer's box and office which will enable Queenslanders to participate in campdraft and equine related sport and recreation activities.

2016 Grants 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Queensland Government for a grant of $17,000.00 through their Show Societies program. This funding assisted the Society with costs relating to the 2016 Stanthorpe Show. 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal for a grant of $4,000.00 through their Small Grants for Rural Communities program. This funding will enable the Society to commence building a parenting room at the showgrounds. 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Commonwealth Government Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development for a grant of $12,000.00. This funding will be matched by the Society and enable the Society to refurbish the kitchen annex of the tea pavilion.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $30,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to upgrade electrical systems at the showgrounds.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Commonwealth Department of Social Services for a grant of $4,800.00 through their Strengthening Communities Volunteer Grants program. This funding enabled the catering subcommitee to purchase stainless steel tables, plastic tables, cutlery, storage containers, and a freezer.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Commonwealth Department of Social Services for a grant of $4,800.00 through their Strengthening Communities Volunteer Grants program. This funding enabled the campdraft subcommitee to purchase stainless steel tables, a bain marie, a pie oven, a cash register and a freezer.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Commonwealth Department of Social Services for a grant of $5,000.00 through their Strengthening Communities Volunteer Grants program. This funding enabled the wine subcommitee to purchase a new laptop, printer and associated software.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Commonwealth Department of Social Services for a grant of $4,500.00 through their Strengthening Communities Volunteer Grants program. This funding enabled the Friends of Stanthorpe Showgrounds to purchase a new mower.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Commonwealth Department of Social Services for a grant of $1,500.00 through their Strengthening Communities Volunteer Grants program. This funding enabled the ring subcommittee to purchase 4 marquees.

2015 Grants 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Queensland Government for a grant of $17,000.00 through their Show Societies program. This funding assisted the Society with costs relating to the 2015 Stanthorpe Show. 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Southern Downs Regional Council for a grant of $8,464.80 through their Regional Arts Development Fund. This funding enabled the Society to install pieces of artwork in centre wall of the exhibition centre. 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $35,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to purchase and install a portable building that will serve as the Stanthorpe Pony Club office and ringside training facility.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $30,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to purchase 3 new portable dressage arenas and enough cattle panels and steel to form a new campdraft arena and cut out yard.

2014 Grants 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Southern Downs Regional Council for a grant of $7,670.00 through their 2013/2014 Community Event Grant Program. This funding enabled the Council to provide mowing, watering, road maintenance and waste removal services in conjunction with the 2014 Stanthorpe Show. 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $25,000.00. This funding enabled the Rodeo and Campdraft sub-committees to upgrade the timing end of the rodeo facilities, upgrade the perimeter fence of the rodeo and team penning arena and upgrade the catering and bar facility. 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $35,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to purchase and install an additional amenities block alongside the main exhibition centre.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $28,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to purchase floor and wall furnishings for the main exhibition centre and a storage facility to house them in.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Jupiter's Casino Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $21,000.00. This funding enabled the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society to purchase additional units of portable ringside seating.

2013 Grants 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Southern Downs Regional Council for a grant of $500.00 through Rd 1 of their 2013/2014 Community Grants Program. This funding enabled the Catering Sub-committee to purchase catering supplies for the community kitchen.

 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank Suncorp and the Qld Police for a grant of $2,000.00 through their Safer Queensland Community Grant Program. This funding enabled the Society to purchase and install a CCTV system on the showgrounds site.

 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Commonwealth Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs for a grant of $5,000.00 through their Volunteer Grants Program. This funding enabled a combi oven to be installed in the community kitchen.

 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Commonwealth Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs for a grant of $4,023.95 through their Volunteer Grants Program. This funding enabled the Society to purchase safety ladders for use in the main pavilions.

 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Commonwealth Department of  Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities for a grant of $32,450.00 through their Community Heritage Program. This funding enabled the Heritage Sub-committee to replace the roof on the Tea Pavilion and improve the surrounding drainage.

 

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a grant of $28,000.00. This funding enabled the Heritage Sub-committee to update the Tea Pavilion.

The Stanthorpe Agricultural Society would like to thank the Ergon for a grant of $4,827.10 through their Community Fund. This funding enabled electrical work to be carried out at the showgrounds in the interests of efficiency and safety.
